It took a little trial and error to make sure whether each section should have debits as positive or credits as positive. I post a question on a support forum and get an official answer within a week. Nevertheless, a simple cash forecast just using the p&l would be really useful. Currently I do it by exporting from Xero to a spreadsheet, which is clunky, not real time and difficult to share. I am now having to pay 18 EUR extra per month to use the add-on Float for my cashflow reporting.
